How long does it take to process my application?

How long does it take for the Trademark Office to process my application?

We will generally prepare and file your application within two business days from receipt of your payment and of all necessary documents. 

Once filed, the trademark offices can take between 4 and 24 months, depending on the territory and the complexity of your case, to process your application for registration. 

However, the most important date is the filing date: if registered, protection dates retroacts to the filing date. During the application process, you will be provided with steady updates on the status of your trademark application. We encourage you to contact us to give us any information you may find relevant, in order for us to deal with your application in the most appropriate way.
